Job Title: Senior Shipbroker / Experienced ShipbrokerLocation: Gurugram, IndiaEmployment Type: Full-time, PermanentCompany Overview:HOPP Shipping is a fast-growing global shipbroking firm operating across tanker, dry, and gas markets. The firm specializes in high-value spot and time-charter transactions, serving international clients across shipping, energy, and logistics sectors.Role Summary:The Experienced Shipbroker will be responsible for independently managing end-to-end broking activities, including client acquisition, deal execution, and market analysis. The role requires strong commercial acumen, industry relationships, and the ability to close fixtures in a competitive global market.Key Responsibilities:Manage spot and time-charter fixtures across tanker, LNG, LPG, or dry bulk segmentsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and key market participantsIdentify new business opportunities and expand the client base globallyNegotiate charter party terms and finalize commercial deals independentlyMonitor global shipping markets, freight trends, and vessel positionsProvide regular market intelligence and insights to clients and internal teamsCoordinate with operations and post-fixture teams to ensure smooth execution of contractsMaintain accurate records of fixtures, negotiations, and client interactionsKey Requirements:Proven experience in shipbroking (tanker, gas, or dry bulk segments preferred)Strong network within the shipping and chartering ecosystemExcellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skillsDeep understanding of global shipping markets and charter party agreementsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure commercial environmentStrong analytical and decision-making skillsHigh level of professionalism, integrity, and accountabilityEligibility:Graduate in any discipline (Shipping, Logistics, Maritime, or Business preferred)Relevant industry experience in shipbroking or charteringCompensation:Salary will be aligned with candidate experience and performance in the intervi
