Want a better quality of life but love the water?Marine Oil Service is seeking to hire a competent and reliable experienced Inland Tankerman (PIC) to join our team. This is for a full-time position for a Day Boat Operation, and would be ideal for a jack of all trades. Employee will be guaranteed a 40-hour minimum work week, with rotating nights and weekends and an excellent benefit package.The candidate must be able to follow USCG regulations, as well as company safety policies and procedures, to conduct safe cargo transfers, safe loading and unloading of our tank vessel.Job Responsibilities:Follow pre-transfer requirements (Declaration of Inspection)Adjusting and securing barge linesConnecting cargo hosesReceiving and initiating pumpingMust maintain medical cards and licensesJob Requirements:Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as a Tankerman (PIC)Must have physical ability to lift transfer equipment of 60-100 lbs.A valid driver’s license with acceptable driving recordHave current TWIC card or the ability to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (T.W.I.C.)Hold a current U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariners Credential (MMC) with Tankerman PIC Barge (DL) EndorsementAble to work an on-call schedule which includes days/nights/weekends/holidaysMust be flexible for scheduling, and overtimeStrong communication skills, by voice and/or visual hand signalsAbility to complete accurate paperworkKnowledge of basic math skills· Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.Equal Opportunity EmployerCompetitive SalaryMedical Benefits401K Matching ProgramPaid VacationAre you currently a Tankerman (PIC) that may want to be a Captain?
