Qualifications: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"><HTML> <HEAD> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=unicode"> <META content="MSHTML 6.00.6000.16674" name=GENERATOR></HEAD> <BODY>  <o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> Helix ESG - Where Energy and Opportunity Unite <o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> Helix is a leading marine contractor and operator of offshore oil and gas properties and production facilities.  Helix is committed to exemplary practices in safety, ethical business conduct, community responsibility and environmental stewardship.  <o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> What began as strictly a diving business has evolved into a vertically integrated offshore industry leader.  Helix Energy Solutions provides life-of-field services and development solutions to growth-focused national and independent oil companies and internal prospect generation, exploration, development and production units.<o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> Helix associates benefit from visionary leadership, principled business practices and association with talented and committed colleagues.  We provide innovative energy solutions and extraordinary energy futures.  <o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> Helix Corporate Human Resources has a need for a dynamic and talented Marine Manager the for the Marine Operations Group.  The Marine Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant marine legislation, classification society rules and appropriate design codes; Meeting targets and budgets agreed with the General Manager - Marine for the maintenance and repair of fleet vessels; Reporting to the General Manager - Marine on the operational and maintenance status of fleet vessels; Liaising with projects to approve and/or implement temporary vessel modifications; Follow establish procedures, processes and systems required to support vessel operations from onshore offices; Use operations and support resources to implement these procedures, processes, and systems; Oversee vessel operations and repairs to insure equipment is maintained and operationally ready to meet customer needs; Monitor fleet personnel manning and training requirements for compliance with safety, regulatory, company policy and customer needs; Ensure that the onboard technical management operates in accordance with required standards; Develop and maintain systems for defect monitoring and repair reporting; Ensure that appropriate design reviews are carried out and documented in accordance with Company, Customer, departmental and regulatory requirements; Ensure that the planned maintenance system is implemented and monitored on fleet vessels; Monitor and review vessel and office operating costs with department personnel.<o:p></o:p>  <o:p></o:p> Minimum Experience Required:<o:p></o:p> Preferred sea going experience with Chief Engineer experience. Minimum 10 years shore based experience in vessel management. Offshore Industry experience preferred.  Strong familiarity with maritime regulatory body rules and regulations.  Experienced with ISM, ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 requirements. Certified auditor preferred.  Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office required.
