Technical Services Engineer

Responsibilities: Marine Spill Response Corporation located in Herndon, VA is seeking an experienced Marine Engineer for Port Engineer position. This individual will be responsible for performance supervision, including drydocking & repairs. The individual will be located at our Corporate Office in Herndon, VA or at a regional office in Concord, CA or Everett, WA. PLEASE SEND ALL INQUIRES VIA EMAIL TO: hr@msrc.org Qualifications: Qualified candidates must possess: · Hands on experience & at least 5-8 years experience. · Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering; Masters degree preferred. · Detailed technical knowledge of the design, construction, repair, maintenance and operations of vessels/barges. · Estimating, specification writing, and negotiating skills · Ability to resolve engineering and technical issues across multiple engineering and technical disciplines. · Ability to travel (30%) nationwide, including Canada, Mexico, and South America. High degree of computer literacy; knowledge of AutoCAD and HECSALV desirable.
