Technical Sales Person

Responsibilities: The role has many parts but below are outlined the key areas: Technical Sales: Liaison with customers by phone, fax and e-mail. Many of them are overseas. Preparation of quotations to meet customer needs, follw up calls to close the business. Technical Drawings: The ability to produce basic 2D drawings in AutoCAD. These drawings are used at the quotation stage and also by our manufacturing team to produce dies and finished product drawings. Manufacturing Liaison. Working closely with the production department to ensure that the customer requirements are translated efficinently, correctly and that their orders are despatched on time. Customer Service. Keep the customers informed of any changes of their orders. Possibility of travel. Occasional Face to Face meetings with external customers, test houses etc. Qualifications: Ideally educated to HND/HNC Mechanical Engineering or A' level Maths and Physics. Ability to use AutoCAD Lt 2000 Computer Literate and used to working with Microsoft Office
