Quality Control/Refrigeration Technician

Responsibilities: To provide final inspection, operational and visual on all air conditioning and refrigeration products produced by this 62 year old manufacturer of marine air conditioning systems. Must have a full understanding of the fundamentals of air conditioning principals, with a good electrical background. Must be able to generate detailed test procedures. Must have the ability to troubleshoot customer returns and articulate defective conditions, and reasons for the defect. Qualifications: Four to five years of hands-on quality control experience in a manufacturing environment, engaged in the production of air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment. Four to five years of field experience, troubleshooting and repairing installed air conditioning and/or refrigeration equipment. Must be able to speak and write English. Ability to speak Spanish is a plus. Must be authorized to work in the US. Must be a team player with some computer skills, and the ability to work flexiable hours to meet changing deadlines.
