Job Description
Responsibilities:
POSITION PURPOSE:
The position is intended to fill a void between the Engineering Section head and the Operations Manager
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage Engineering functions
2. Handling management and coordination issues including work allocation, interface engineering and meeting deadlines.
3. Liaise closely with Proposals Group, Fabrication Yard and Projects Group
Qualifications:
REQUIREMENT AND BACK GROUND:
Educational:
Masters of Engineering (Mechanical)
(Note: BE (Mechanical) if experience justifies)
Skills:
Communication (English & Report Writing)
Presentation
Analytical
Multi Tasking
Allocating and monitioring work
Computer Skill:
MS Projects / MS Word / Excel (Spread Sheets)
Industry Experience:
Oil & Gas
Area of work:
Engineering
EXPERIENCE OF:
1. Site Work for projects
2. Fabrication and fieldwork experience is a must. (Do not want who gets and does Engineering + Design)
3. Should have an idea of method statement, materials take off, As built drawings, and Design reading/understanding
4. Detailed engineering experience for various processes.
