MATERIAL ESTIMATION ENGINEER

Responsibilities: • Coordinate and attend kick-off meetings with Estimation Section on EPC major projects. • Review and agree with Engineer9ng and Estimation Sections on critical and on critical material during Tendering stage and plan issuance dates. • Develop Project Specific Procurement Procedures during Tender stage. • Develop Vendors List in coordination with Commodity Leaders during Tender stage and verify Client Vendors List (if applicable). • Review and comment on Procurement Planning Schedule in coordination with Commodity Leaders and Planning Section. • Act as a focal point to receive and distribute Tender Enquiries to Commodity Leaders and ensure timely action on such Enquiries. • Coordinate the issuance of Weekly Procurement Summary Reports on all outstanding Tenders, review and discuss areas of concern with Estimation and Procurement Management. • Maintain and update proper records on all procurement activities made against each Tenders, including specifications references against major material heads and classify records on client wise basis. • Follow up Engineering Technical Evaluation on bids received during Tendering stage. • Supervise Data Bank Operators and ensure the update of data records in a timely manner Qualifications: • Proven track record in similar role.
