CONTROL SYSTEMS ENGINEER

Responsibilities: DESCRIPTION: • Prepare design specifications • Prepare logic descriptions for process control systems • Prepare cause and effects for shutdown systems • Assist in the production of an Instrument Index • Assist with P&ID development and mechanization • Assist in the preparation of proposals • Prepare enquiry requisitions and technical bid evaluations • Manage interfaces between packages and control systems • Organise, assign and monitor work progress of others • Present conceptual design and recommendations to clients. Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS: • Chartered engineer with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in petrochemical, oil and gas • This experience may have been gained in companies who supply equipment and services OR in Design Contracting houses • Must be prepared and able to travel, sometimes at short notice
