SENIOR FIELD INSTRUMENT ENGINEER

Responsibilities: DESCRIPTION: • Determine general field instruments requirements including field instruments and valves • Produce associated general specifications and datasheets • Assist in the production of an Instrument Index • Prepare requisition enquiries and carry out bid evaluations and vendor selection • Assist with P&ID development and mechanisation • Manage interfaces between packages and control systems. Qualifications: REQUIREMENTS: • HNC/ONC in an engineering discipline with at least 5 to 10 years of experience in petrochemical, oil and gas • This experience may have been gained in companies who supply equipment and services OR in Design Contracting houses • Must be prepared and able to travel, sometimes at short notice.
