Job Description

Qualifications: Large international transportation and infrastructure concession company with activities in over 15 countries and a leader in the worldwide highway construction industry is looking for a seasoned Right of Way Manager for its US corporate offices in Austin, TX. <p> Reporting: <p> Reports to the CEO of concession company; dotted line responsibilities and reporting to the Infrastructure Manager. <p> Roles and responsibilites: <p> • Responsible for the assemblage if final ‘right of way (ROW) acquisitions <p>• Direct liaison with the ROW Acquisition Manager of the ROW Acquisition Team <p>• Supervises, manages, and coordinates the ROW Acquisition Team <p>• Delegates necessary tasks to the Title Company, surveyors, appraisers, review appraisers, negotiation/acquisition agents, relocation agents, property managers, and administrative staff. <p>• Responsible for the production and review of all ROW work associated with the facility. <p>• Ultimate responsibility for acquiring the ROW on schedule and on budget. <p> Qualifications: <p> <p>• At least 5 years experience managing the acquisition of transportation right-of-way projects for a condemning authority. <p>• Licensed as a Real Estate salesman or Broker pursuant to the Texas Real Estate Act or rules established by the Texas Real Estate Commission. <p>• Familiar with appraisal and appraisal report review pursuant to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) <p>• Familiar with the Uniform Act and applicable Laws of the state of Texas. <p>• Must be familiar with TXDot policies and procedures.
