Job Description
Responsibilities:
Position/Responsibilities/Duties:
Responsible for preparation and development of government work specifications and development of installation drawings to further define repair parameters from automated work request (AWR’s). Ship checks (local and overseas) to clarify customers intent in the fields of Electrical / Electronic repairs.
Qualifications:
Qualifications/Skills:
1. Working knowledge of ship’s Electrical / Electronic systems and operations, ability to read blueprints, engineering sketches, knowledge of NAVSEA standard items, military standards and general specification for overhaul. Electrical / Electronic experience required.
2. Computer proficiency required, including excellent MS Word and Excel skills; some CAD programs is a plus.
3. Ability to learn government programs (AUS & NMDB).
4. Some estimating experience required.
5. High School Diploma or equivalent required, and technical school preferred. Navy background is a plus.
