Technical Superintendant

Responsibilities: For an expanding fully managed fleet of container vessels and bulk carriers our Bermuda-based company requires a TECHNICAL SUPERINTENDENT (reporting to General Manager). Qualifications: The ideal candidate should possess: • Chief Engineer – First Class Certificate of Competency. • experience in modern ship management as a Technical Superintendent • Knowledge of container vessels and bulk carriers (regarded as an advantage) • good working knowledge of computerized planned maintenance systems • good working knowledge of the ISM Code • experience in shore-based emergency response • a good track record in the planning, budgeting and execution of vessel docking and repair projects Because of the very close relationship with our clients we regard excellent communication and reporting skills as an important asset.
