General Manger

Responsibilities: Argosy Shipping (USA), LP is currently looking for a General Manger to manage the day-to-day activities of the company. Attitude is the most important asset the candidate should posses. The candidate must have drive, ambition, and the ability to multi-task. This person must have a sense of vision or be a strategic thinker, along with possessing strong leadership skills. The General Manager will work closely with the President, but should be able to work independently and take the initiative to make independent decisions. Position is located in Houston, Texas. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University. • Minimum of five years experience in the industry. • Chartering and operating experience in dry bulk, general cargoes and project cargo. • Solid working knowledge of inland logistics • Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
