Job Description
Responsibilities:
Chief Radio Electronics Technician (Critical Rating) - Oversees the operation and maintenance of the ship's military communication suites.
Qualifications:
Must possess a valid Merchant Mariners Document with entry grade endorsement and have Electronics Technician/Radio Room background. Must be eligible to obtain a Top Secret security clearance. Requires Shipboard Radio Room Experience with supervisory level knowledge of Communications planning, administration and watch organization; Equipment maintenance scheduling and planning, OPSEC, and experienced as a CMS Custodian/EKMS Manager or alternate a plus. Prior Navy RM or IT, E7 and above, with no electronics maintenance experience or Navy RM, IT or ET E6 and above with maintenance experience are a plus for this position. (Salary range: $42,799 to $47,055 plus overtime)
