Qualifications: Full-time instructor responsible for the delivery of US Coast Guard and International Maritime Organization (IMO) approved curriculum to students. Requirements include: Recent (3 or less years) and relevant sea service 1+ years experience in instructing in military or vocational education STCW-95 Compliancy in Basic Safety, GMDSS, ARPA, Bridge Teamwork Procedures Valid USCG Merchant Marine Officer License of at least 3rd mate of motor or steam vessels of any gross tons with Oceans, Radar Observer (Unlimited) and shipboard Firefighting endorsements.
