Product Design Engineer

Responsibilities: Responsibilities include: -Design and documentation of custom watertight marine closures. -Design and selection of mechanical components, frames, seals and custom closure mechanisms. -Creating design/assembly drawings and bills of material. -Coordinating with sales and manufacturing teams to insure that designs fully meet customer requirements and appropriate industry standards. -Client visitations, trade shows and industry association events as assigned. -Working as a member of the product Design Team at our Gold Beach, Oregon home office (occasional travel may be required, including international). Qualifications: BS ME (or equal) and 2+ yrs design experience. Proficient in using CAD (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks preferred). High level concept design skills. Ability to multi-task several projects. Excellent organizational skills. Strong oral & computer based communications skills. Fabrication and product design background.
