Responsibilities: Responsible for designing and defining systems requirements for complex customer systems and/or preparing studies analyzing existing systems. Determines systems specifications, input/output processes and working parameters for hardware/software compatability. Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system. Identifies, analyzes and resolves program support deficiencies. Develops and recommends corrective actions.Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards. Considered an expert in field within the organization. Applies extensive expertise and has sound knowledge of related disciplines. Develops solutions to complex problems which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation. Work is performed without appreciable direction. Exercises considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignment. Effects of decisions are long-lasting and heavily influence future course of organization. Serves as a consultant to management and as a special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to policies, plans and objectives. Qualifications: Bachelors degree from an accredited college in related discipline. Typical Minimum Experience 9 years of professional experience; 7 years of related experience with Masters degree. Considered an emerging authority.
