Industrial Equipment Maintenance Manager

Responsibilities: This individual will be responsible for managing 24-hour/7-day maintenance operations; we are seeking an individual with the ability to effectively manage union labor. The ideal applicant will possess a Bachelors degree in either business or engineering, and have a minimum of five (5) years previous management experience, preferably with heavy industrial equipment or industrial controls. Qualifications: U.S. citizenship, or U.S. work Visa. The ability to provide technical assistance/support to mechanics. The ability to supervise union mechanics in day to day work. The ability to interface with client(s) to fulfill maintenance and repair needs. To manage and maintain maintenance records and administer maintenance program. General mechanical knowledge including welding, machine work and fabrication processes. Responsible for monitoring equipment utilization and downtime. Must possess effective interpersonal skills and a commitment to promote a safe work environment.
