Assistant Engineer

Responsibilities: Assits the Chief Engineer in the following duties: The operation and repair while at sea of Propulsion machinery, Ship generators, Special project generators, Deck machinery (winches, cranes, hydraulic handling systems),Pumps and Motors. Qualifications: 1) High School Graduation or equivalency certification is required. Small Marine Engine (e.g., OMC, QMED) certification is required. A total of at least three years of engine-room experience with at least two years Detroit Diesel in line 71 experience required.
