Job Description
Responsibilities:
The position plans and directs the execution of a maritime operations program to optimize the use of maritime related facilities at the Port.
Develops a marketing plan and sets goals; identifies and develops relationships with potential customers and tenants; directs domestic and foreign efforts and activities to improve and expand maritime services; directs economic and commercial surveys for the purpose of setting tariffs, leasing and marketing plans and for developing cargo operations activities.
Qualifications:
The required knowledge and skills may be demonstrated by six years of responsible experience in the Port industry, transportation of maritime goods, or related industry as a manager. A Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred. Experience must have been obtained within the last 10 years.
