Job Description
Responsibilities:
Performs or directs ship surveys on site to determine conditions and to obtain data to perform analysis and design. Coordinates work in marine/mechanical discipline to ensure all other technical areas are covered and designs are complete and integrated packages. Performs detailed cost and schedule estimates for bid evaluation and project fund justifications. Provides consulting services in the implementation of completed designs; resolves technical difficulties. Reviews, comments or approves engineering firm, shipyard design work in marine/mechanical engineering discipline.
Qualifications:
BS in mechanical or marine engineering
US Citizen
Maritime experience
USCG license a plus
