Environmental Engineer/Analyst

Responsibilities: Designers & Planners, Inc. is in search of a Ship Environmental Engineer with an MS degree (environmental/marine engineering) and maritime environmental experience, particulary in support of a Navy new ship acquisition program. Candidate must have engineering skills as well as the ability to develop policy. Position involves technology evaluation, ship design environmental policy development, critical thinking, policy and data analysis, problem solving, and writing. Qualifications: Strong computer and communication skills; familiarity with ship pollution control equipment, Navy/NAVSEA policy and acquisition, international and national environmental regulations, and Environmental Management System development.
