Sr. Tax Accountant

Responsibilities: Crowley Maritime Corporation, a leader in worldwide ocean transportation, is seeking a Sr. Tax Accountant in Oakland, CA to prepare essential portions of Federal and state income tax returns, as assigned by the Tax Director. This individuals will also research Federal and state tax issues as well as assist the Tax Director as required. Qualifications: Minimum of four to five years experience at a CPA firm (or equivalent), CPA a plus. Experienced with preparation of corporate consolidated Federal returns, state combined reports and separate company returns, including compilation of state apportionment factors. Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong time-management skills. Strong computer skills, experience in Windows 95, Lotus spreadsheets, Excel, Word, and tax related software. Self-starter
