Your life on board As an Electrician, you’ll be a role model responsible for maintaining and repairing medium/low voltage electrical systems on board, including troubleshooting and servicing equipment in both accommodation and engine areas. You are passionate about new technologies and willing to learn. Get things right You’ll troubleshoot and maintain electrical systems across accommodation and engine areas, supporting in emergencies. You’ll handle repairs, inspections, and maintenance of electrical machinery, control systems, lighting, elevators, and hotel equipment. You’ll follow safety and environmental regulations, participate in training, and report maintenance via PMS. You’ll support health and safety protocols and assist with inventory and spare parts management. Safety First You familiarize and act accordingly with the latest Health, Environmental, Safety and Security (HESS) national, international and company rules and regulations You are creating a welcoming and secure environment where everyone feels comfortable and respected. What makes you unique You have professional electrical qualifications and experience in electrical maintenance and installation. You are holding Certificate of Proficiency III/7 as per STCW regulations. Experience in elevator maintenance is beneficial. You are familiar with ship’s common electrical systems like switchboards, generators, fire alarm systems, fire door and sliding door systems, PA electrical systems, watertight doors, laundry machineries, galley machineries, elevators, and open deck systems. You have a B1 spoken level of English; knowledge of other languages is a plus. You have good communication skills, and you are a curious, organized, and determined person with experience in people management.
