The National Maritime Museum of Sweden preserves and highlights Sweden’s rich maritime cultural heritage and history, offering exhibitions about humanity’s relationship to the sea, lakes, and coasts throughout history.
PORT is an Internet gateway of maritime resources at the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich. The portal is designed for the research purposes of academics, museum staff and researchers, and contains a variety of information on themes such as Shipbuilding, Transport, and Marine engineering. The portal also contains an Events listing for the maritime community of conferences and symposia, and a range of related information services.

Opened in 1991, the Museum offers a world-class collection of maritime art, models of historic sailing ships and a history of the Channel Coast and early 20th century development of Channel Islands Harbor and nearby Port Hueneme.
The Museum is open daily from 11 AM to 5 PM. Admission is free, but donations are
gratefully accepted. Knowledgeable docents are available to explain the exhibits. Special maritime educational programs are available for school children, including "at sea" activities aboard affiliated research and sail training vessels.
The Western Australia Maritime Museum, located in Fremantle, showcases the state's maritime heritage including the winning America's Cup yacht Australia II, naval vessels, and exhibits on the Indian Ocean and WA's coastal history. It is part of the Western Australian Museum network.
