Nobeltec is the Marine Applications & Services divison of the Jeppesen organization, Denver, CO, USA, a pioneer and foremost supplier of aviation charts and navigation services. Nobeltec is the leading developer of PC-based marine navigation products. The company was established in 1993 by two ex-Microsoft engineers and avid boaters. Their goal was to produce a Windows based program to display electronic navigation charts and track vessel position with GPS. The company’s first product, Navtrek, was a huge success.
