Seattle, WA - Alaska Airlines has promoted Ben Brookman to the role of Vice President of Real Estate and Airport Affairs, the company announced on February 12, 2026. Brookman, who has 17 years of experience in the airline industry, will now lead Alaska's global real estate strategy and investments across all airports where the carrier operates. This includes managing the airline's facilities, infrastructure, and partnerships with airport authorities. 'Ben's deep expertise in real estate and airport operations makes him the ideal candidate to oversee this critical aspect of our business,' said Alaska Airlines CEO Ben Minicucci. 'As we continue to grow and expand our route network, Ben's leadership will be instrumental in ensuring we have the right facilities and partnerships in place to support our operations.' Prior to this promotion, Brookman served in various roles at Alaska Airlines, including managing the airline's airport and terminal leases, overseeing capital projects, and leading real estate acquisitions. 'Our airports and facilities are the foundation of our operations, and I'm excited to work with our team to enhance our presence and capabilities across the network.'
