Canada Nickel Company has filed a technical report on its updated resource estimate for the Reid Nickel Sulphide Project in Ontario.

Canada Nickel Company Inc. has announced the filing of an independent technical report prepared in accordance with National Instrument 43-101 for the previously announced updated resource estimate at its Reid Nickel Sulphide Project in Ontario. The report, which was filed on SEDAR+, provides details on the updated mineral resource estimate for the project. According to the company, the report confirms the significant nickel and cobalt resources identified at the Reid Nickel Sulphide Project. 'The filing of this technical report is an important milestone for Canada Nickel as we continue to advance the Reid Nickel Sulphide Project,' said Mark Selby, Chair and CEO of Canada Nickel. 'The updated resource estimate demonstrates the substantial nickel and cobalt endowment of this project, which we believe will be critical to supporting the growing demand for these key battery metals.' The Reid Nickel Sulphide Project is located in the Timmins-Cochrane mining camp in northern Ontario, an established mining jurisdiction. Canada Nickel is focused on advancing the project as it seeks to capitalize on the rising global demand for battery metals like nickel and cobalt, which are essential components in electric vehicle batteries and other clean energy technologies. This technical report filing comes after Canada Nickel previously announced the updated resource estimate for the Reid Nickel Sulphide Project in January 2026. The company noted that the updated estimate represents a significant increase in the project's nickel and cobalt resources compared to the previous estimate. 'The filing of this technical report is an important step forward for the Reid Nickel Sulphide Project,' Selby added. 'We remain committed to advancing this asset and unlocking its full potential to support the global transition to a low-carbon economy.'
