Eco Wave Power Achieves 'Record Output' During Pilot Project

By MGN EditorialMarch 6, 2026 at 12:46 PM

Eco Wave Power's wave energy pilot project in Israel has delivered record-breaking power output during high wave conditions, demonstrating the technology's potential.

Eco Wave Power's wave energy pilot project at the Jaffa Port in Israel has achieved 'record output' during three-meter waves, the company announced. According to Eco Wave Power, the pilot project generated its highest power output to date, exceeding the company's expectations. The pilot is testing Eco Wave Power's proprietary technology, which uses floats connected to the shore by sturdy arms to generate electricity as the waves rise and fall. The company says the recent performance demonstrates the system's ability to withstand and generate power from high wave conditions. 'We are extremely proud of the results achieved by our Jaffa Port pilot project, which has once again proven the capabilities of our technology to generate clean electricity even during challenging wave conditions,' said Inna Braverman, Founder and CEO of Eco Wave Power. 'These results further validate our technology and bring us one step closer to the full-scale deployment of our wave energy power plant.' The Jaffa Port pilot is part of Eco Wave Power's efforts to commercialize its wave energy conversion technology. The company is currently developing a grid-connected, commercial-scale wave energy power station in Israel and pursuing projects in other markets including Europe and the United States.
