Empact Technologies announces a long-term partnership with Sabanci Renewables to manage tax credit compliance for 286 MW of solar projects in the U.S.
Empact Technologies, a leading provider of tax credit incentive compliance management software and services, has secured a long-term partnership with Sabanci Renewables, a major U.S. utility-scale solar developer, to manage tax credit compliance for 286 MW of the company's solar projects.
According to the press release, Empact will provide its specialized software and services to ensure Sabanci Renewables' projects remain compliant with various tax credit programs, including the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and Production Tax Credit (PTC). This will help the renewable energy firm maximize the value of these important incentives as it continues to expand its portfolio of solar assets across the United States.
'Empact's deep expertise in tax credit compliance management makes them an ideal partner as we scale our solar business,' said Sabanci Renewables CEO Omer Koc. 'Their technology-driven approach will help us streamline this complex area of our operations and focus on delivering clean energy to more communities.'
The partnership reflects the growing importance of specialized compliance services in the renewable energy sector, where navigating an evolving regulatory landscape is crucial for project developers to fully capitalize on available tax credits and other incentives. Empact's software-as-a-service platform automates many of the manual processes involved, reducing the risk of non-compliance and freeing up internal resources.
'We're proud to support Sabanci Renewables' ambitious growth plans with our industry-leading compliance management solution,' said Empact CEO Liam Donovan. 'This partnership is a testament to our team's deep domain expertise and commitment to helping renewable energy companies maximize the value of tax credits and other government incentives.'
The announcement comes as the Biden administration continues to prioritize investment in domestic solar and other clean energy sources as part of its broader climate and energy security agenda. Partnerships like this one between Empact and Sabanci Renewables will be crucial to ensuring the U.S. solar industry can scale up production and meet rising demand in the years ahead.
