Energy Fuels Boosts Uranium, Rare Earth Production in 2025

By MGN EditorialFebruary 27, 2026 at 04:00 PM

Energy Fuels reports strong 2025 results, including increased uranium sales, over 1 million pounds of low-cost U.S. uranium production, and successful rare earth pilot production.

Energy Fuels, a leading producer of uranium and rare earth elements in the United States, has announced its 2025 results and 2026 guidance, showcasing significant progress in its operations. According to the company's press release, Energy Fuels saw a substantial increase in uranium sales in 2025, along with the successful production of over one million pounds of low-cost U.S. uranium. This achievement is particularly noteworthy given the ongoing global demand for reliable and domestically-sourced uranium supplies. In addition to its uranium operations, Energy Fuels also reported the completion of its upsized $700 million 0.75% convertible senior notes offering, which has boosted the company's working capital to nearly $1 billion. This strong financial position will enable Energy Fuels to continue investing in its strategic initiatives, including the ongoing development of its heavy rare earth pilot production. 'We are extremely pleased with our 2025 results and the continued progress we are making across our uranium, rare earth, and other critical mineral business lines,' said Mark Chalmers, President and CEO of Energy Fuels. 'Our ability to deliver low-cost, domestically-produced uranium and rare earth elements is a key competitive advantage and aligns with the growing global focus on energy security and critical mineral supply chain resilience.' The successful rare earth pilot production is particularly noteworthy, as it represents a significant milestone in Energy Fuels' efforts to establish itself as a leading producer of these critical materials. Rare earth elements are essential for a wide range of high-tech applications, including renewable energy technologies, electric vehicles, and advanced defense systems. As the maritime industry continues to navigate the complex landscape of energy transition and supply chain resilience, the achievements of companies like Energy Fuels will be closely watched. The company's ability to reliably produce uranium and rare earth elements from domestic sources positions it as a valuable partner for maritime stakeholders seeking to secure their energy and critical mineral supplies.
