Global green technology leader Envision Energy has signed a new agreement with renewable energy developer AMEA Power for the 500 MW Amunet II wind project in Egypt, according to a PR Newswire announcement made at the Africa Energy Forum (AEF) 2026 in Cape Town, South Africa on 19 June 2026.
The deal brings the two companies' combined wind energy portfolio in Egypt to 1 gigawatt, marking a significant milestone in the country's renewable energy expansion ambitions.
