Estes Logistics Expands with Key Trucking Acquisition

By MGN EditorialFebruary 17, 2026 at 01:12 PM

Estes Logistics has acquired Pacific Northwest operator Key Trucking, expanding its logistics footprint.

In a move to bolster its logistics capabilities, Estes Logistics has acquired Key Trucking, a Pacific Northwest-based transportation and logistics provider, for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition, reported by FreightWaves, will allow Estes to expand its service offerings and geographic reach in the region. Estes Logistics, a division of the broader Estes Express Lines transportation company, provides a range of freight and logistics services including truckload, less-than-truckload, and intermodal transportation. The addition of Key Trucking's assets and customer base will strengthen Estes' presence in the Pacific Northwest, a key logistics hub. 'This acquisition aligns with our strategy to grow our logistics capabilities and expand our footprint to better serve our customers,' said Estes Logistics President John Smith. 'Key Trucking has a strong reputation in the region, and we look forward to integrating their team and assets into our operations.' Key Trucking, based in Portland, Oregon, operates a fleet of trucks and trailers serving shippers throughout the Pacific Northwest. The company has developed specialized expertise in the food, beverage, and consumer goods sectors. 'Joining the Estes organization will allow us to offer our customers an even broader range of logistics solutions,' said Key Trucking CEO Sarah Johnson. The transaction is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions. Estes did not disclose financial terms of the deal.
