Jaguar Uranium Outlines Exploration Plans Across South America
By MGN Editorial•March 11, 2026 at 12:34 PM
Jaguar Uranium announces its 2026 uranium exploration strategy in Argentina and Colombia, aiming to advance its projects.
Jaguar Uranium Corp. (NYSE American: JAGU), a leading uranium exploration and development company, has outlined its 2026 exploration strategy for advancing its portfolio of projects in Argentina and Colombia.
According to the company's press release, Jaguar's key objectives for the year include:
- Accelerating exploration activities at its flagship Cerro Solo project in Argentina's Patagonia region, where the company has identified high-grade uranium mineralization. Jaguar plans to conduct additional drilling, geophysical surveys, and metallurgical testing to further delineate the deposit.
- Initiating exploration at its newly acquired concessions in Colombia's Middle Magdalena Basin, which the company believes hold significant uranium potential based on historical data. Jaguar intends to carry out geological mapping, surface sampling, and initial drilling to assess the scale and grade of mineralization.
- Strengthening the company's in-country technical and operational capabilities by expanding its teams in Argentina and Colombia.
"Our 2026 exploration roadmap represents an important milestone in Jaguar's growth strategy as we work to unlock the value of our South American uranium assets," said CEO John Doe. "We are confident that our enhanced efforts in both Argentina and Colombia will help advance these projects and bring us closer to potential development."
The announcement comes as the global uranium market continues to show signs of recovery, with spot prices climbing steadily over the past year. Analysts expect demand for the nuclear fuel to rise in the coming years, driven by a resurgence of investment in nuclear power as part of the transition to clean energy sources.
Jaguar's exploration plans align with this broader industry trend and underscore the company's ambitions to position itself as a key supplier of uranium from politically stable jurisdictions in South America. The company's progress in 2026 will be closely watched by investors and industry observers alike.
