Female-founded aviation company Ladybird Jet adds Houston service to its growing Dallas–Fredericksburg network, including the first-ever semi-private air service to Fredericksburg, Texas.

Ladybird Jet, the Texas-based membership aviation company founded by female entrepreneurs, has announced the expansion of its semi-private air travel network to include service between Dallas, Fredericksburg, and now Houston. According to the company's press release, the new Houston route will connect Texas executives across the three markets, providing a more convenient and efficient alternative to commercial air travel. Ladybird Jet's semi-private model offers members access to a fleet of private aircraft, with scheduled flights and the ability to book individual seats. 'Our mission is to empower Texas business leaders with a smarter, more seamless air travel experience,' said Ladybird Jet CEO and co-founder Jane Doe. 'By adding Houston to our network, we're giving our members even more flexibility to reach key destinations across the state.' The Fredericksburg route represents the first-ever semi-private air service to the popular Hill Country destination, which has seen growing demand from Dallas and Austin-based travelers. Ladybird Jet's fleet includes a mix of turboprop and light jet aircraft, offering a premium experience compared to commercial flights. The expansion comes as private aviation has seen a surge in popularity during the COVID-19 pandemic, with travelers seeking more control, comfort, and convenience over their journeys. Ladybird Jet's model aims to make these benefits accessible to a wider range of business flyers through its membership program. 'Ladybird Jet is pioneering a new era of air travel in Texas, blending the flexibility of private aviation with the affordability of commercial flights,' said transportation analyst John Smith. 'This latest move to Houston solidifies their position as a leading player in the state's semi-private aviation market.'
