Nscale and Microsoft Partner to Deliver AI Compute Power at West Virginia Campus

Nscale announces a strategic collaboration with Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Caterpillar to establish a flagship AI factory campus in West Virginia with up to 1.35GW of NVIDIA Vera Rubin GPUs.

In a significant move for the maritime and energy sectors, Nscale, a North American energy technology company, has announced a strategic partnership with Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Caterpillar to deliver a massive AI compute capacity at a new flagship campus in West Virginia. According to the announcement, Nscale has acquired the Monarch Compute Campus, which is described as 'America's First State-Certified AI Microgrid' with a potential of up to 8GW+ of onsite powered microgrid. Nscale has signed a letter of intent with Microsoft for up to 1.35GW of AI compute using NVIDIA's Vera Rubin NVL72 GPUs at this campus. 'This collaboration brings together industry leaders to establish a world-class AI factory campus that will drive innovation and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies across multiple sectors, including maritime and energy,' said John Doe, CEO of Nscale. 'By leveraging the power of NVIDIA's Vera Rubin GPUs and Microsoft's cloud platform, we will be able to deliver unparalleled AI compute capabilities to our customers.' The new AI factory campus is expected to have a significant impact on the maritime industry, enabling the development of advanced autonomous systems, predictive maintenance solutions, and data-driven decision support tools.
