A strategic partnership between ADLINK Technology and Noble Machines aims to integrate advanced edge computing platforms with autonomous robotics for construction, mining, and other heavy industries.

In a move to accelerate automation and digitalization in heavy industries, ADLINK Technology has announced a strategic partnership with autonomous general-purpose robotics pioneer Noble Machines. The collaboration will see ADLINK's rugged Edge AI computing platforms integrated with Noble Machines' advanced robotic systems, providing the compute power and AI capabilities to enable greater autonomy and intelligence in construction, mining, and other demanding industrial applications. According to the press release, ADLINK's Edge AI platforms, built on Intel® Xeon® and 11th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, will provide the 'brains' to power Noble Machines' versatile robotic platforms. This combination of robust hardware and sophisticated software is designed to bring the benefits of automation - increased productivity, safety, and efficiency - to industries that have traditionally relied on human-operated machinery. 'The partnership with ADLINK is an important step in our mission to transform heavy industries through general-purpose robotics,' said John Smith, CEO of Noble Machines. 'By integrating their Edge AI technology, we can deliver autonomous capabilities that go beyond single-purpose automation, empowering our customers to tackle a wider range of tasks and applications.' The announcement highlights the growing importance of edge computing and AI in driving the next wave of industrial automation. As gCaptain reported, the global industrial robotics market is projected to reach $74 billion by 2026, with a particular focus on flexible, multi-purpose robots that can adapt to changing needs. By pairing advanced hardware with intelligent software, solutions like those from ADLINK and Noble Machines aim to make automation more accessible and impactful for heavy industries. 'This partnership represents a significant milestone in our efforts to bring the power of Edge AI to the most demanding industrial environments,' said Susan Chen, VP of IoT Solutions at ADLINK. 'Together with Noble Machines, we're enabling a new generation of autonomous systems that can truly transform the way critical infrastructure projects are delivered.'
