Systemair Reports Q3 Earnings Amid Challenging Market Conditions

By MGN EditorialMarch 5, 2026 at 10:45 AM

Systemair AB, a leading HVAC equipment manufacturer, has reported its Q3 2025/26 financial results, showing a decline in net sales amid ongoing global economic headwinds.

Systemair AB, a major global manufacturer of ventilation and air conditioning equipment, has released its financial results for the third quarter of the 2025/26 fiscal year. The company reported that its organic growth was +1.0 percent (+5.4), while net sales decreased by 5.9 percent to SEK 2,862 million (3,042), with the currency effect accounting for -8.7 percent of the decline. According to the report, Systemair's adjusted operating profit (adj. EBIT) decreased by 16.0 percent to SEK 200 million (238), corresponding to an adjusted EBIT margin of 7.0 percent (7.8). The company attributed the lower earnings to 'challenging market conditions' and 'increased costs for materials and logistics.' 'The third quarter was characterized by continued challenges in the global economy, with high inflation, rising interest rates, and supply chain disruptions impacting our business,' said Roland Kasper, CEO of Systemair. 'Despite these headwinds, we remain focused on operational efficiency and delivering innovative solutions to our customers.' The report also noted that Systemair's order intake decreased by 4.0 percent during the quarter, reflecting the broader slowdown in the HVAC market. However, the company's order backlog remained strong, providing some cushion against the current market volatility. Looking ahead, Systemair said it would continue to monitor the evolving economic landscape and implement cost-saving measures to mitigate the impact on its financial performance. The company remains cautiously optimistic about its long-term growth prospects, particularly as the demand for energy-efficient HVAC systems continues to rise globally. [Source: PR Newswire]
