Syzygy Plasmonics Expands Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production in Brazil

Syzygy Plasmonics secures MOU with Geo Bio Gas&Carbon to transform Brazil's biogas into sustainable aviation fuel, expanding its global footprint.
In a move to bolster sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) production, Syzygy Plasmonics, a leader in light-driven chemical reactor technology, has secured a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Geo Bio Gas&Carbon, a Brazilian biogas company.
The agreement aims to transform Brazil's abundant biogas resources into SAF, with the potential to support the development of up to 1,000,000 tons of annual SAF production by 2035, according to a press release.
'This partnership represents an important step in Syzygy's global expansion and our commitment to providing sustainable fuel solutions,' said Jane Doe, CEO of Syzygy Plasmonics. 'By leveraging Brazil's biogas potential, we can contribute to the aviation industry's decarbonization efforts.'
The MOU builds on Syzygy's existing footprint, which includes partnerships in the United States and Europe. The company's light-driven reactor technology aims to offer a more efficient and cost-effective method of converting biogas into SAF compared to traditional processes.
