TransTech Group acquires controlling interest in India-based engineered fabrication and process equipment manufacturer Teknoflow, expanding its global engineered products platform and establishing a manufacturing presence in India.

In a strategic move to strengthen its global footprint, TransTech Group has announced the acquisition of a controlling interest and long-term partnership with the founding family of Teknoflow Green Equipments Private Limited, an India-based engineered fabrication and process equipment manufacturer. According to the press release, this acquisition will allow TransTech Group to expand its global engineered products platform and establish a manufacturing presence in India, a key market for the maritime and energy industries. 'This partnership with Teknoflow is an important step in our strategy to grow our engineered products business and enhance our global capabilities,' said TransTech Group CEO John Smith. 'India's rapidly developing maritime and energy sectors present significant opportunities, and Teknoflow's strong engineering and manufacturing expertise will enable us to better serve customers in the region.' Teknoflow, founded in 2010, specializes in the design, fabrication, and installation of process equipment for the oil and gas, petrochemical, and power generation industries. The company's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in India will now become part of TransTech Group's global network, allowing the combined entity to leverage synergies and deliver enhanced solutions to customers worldwide. 'We are excited to join forces with TransTech Group, a respected leader in the engineered products space,' said Teknoflow founder Raj Patel. 'This partnership will allow us to accelerate our growth, expand our capabilities, and provide even greater value to our customers in India and beyond.' The acquisition is expected to close in the coming weeks, subject to customary closing conditions. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. This strategic move by TransTech Group underscores the growing importance of the Indian market for maritime and energy-related businesses. By establishing a manufacturing presence in the country and leveraging Teknoflow's expertise, the company aims to better serve its global customer base and capitalize on the region's rapidly expanding opportunities.
