In a move to bolster its manufacturing capabilities, technology group Wärtsilä has announced plans to invest approximately €140 million to expand its production capacity by 35% at its Sustainable Technology Hub (STH) in Vaasa, Finland. According to the company, this expansion will increase Wärtsilä's industrial capacity and strengthen its global supply chain to better meet the growing demand for its products and solutions in the energy and marine industries worldwide.
